I started speaking very early and was very fluent. I still have those old cassette tape recordings of fluent little me reciting baby poems. The stutter came around age 3 when my great-grandmother came to visit, and my family sent away my regular babysitter for that time. I guess I was scared of her. But my father stutters, so I think it would have come anyway, sooner or later
