PSA: you can text the emergency services!* *I know for sure in the UK. You have to "sign up" for the service - there's a number you can text (google it) and it'll register your phone for the service. You don't need to provide a reason, you don't need to pay, you don't need to do anything but put your name down. I don't know if the US or any other country has a similar system, but I would be surprised if accessibility features weren't available. If you're at all worried about this situation, I recommend you look into this.
