Lots of us have faced this situation. With stuttering as well as those with anxiety but no stutter. To me it presents itself as a distant voice warning me I will fail. Each time I let that voice win, it gets stronger and I’ll end up missing out on life. Same concept as forming good habits like eating well, being active, or reaching out to family and friends to maintain relationships. I could share tons of examples. Good for you on getting back to school and realizing you need better habits. My only tip is to recognize when that voice is telling you to quit, focus on your goals and fight through it.
