My stutter got worse, can't accept it Hello, how you guys managed to accept your stutter and come out with it ? I work at the International school (Nord-Anglia), not a teacher, but i still have to talk a lot, past years, i somehow managed to go with the flow and even tho i had my moments, i could talk decently... last months, my stutter got randomly so bad to the point, when i have problems saying good morning and simple phrases, everyday words... which i never had problem with. Even when doing groceries, i never stuttered on hi or goodbye, nowadays... i have problem to say even that, so it can get pretty ankward and cashier thinks i am being rude.... in my language (not english), you can't use any polite substitute word for hello so... but anyway, that's not really the point. Everyday is really stressful and exhausting, even people are starting noticing, got almost yelled at by parents or they gave me ankward stares, if i am normal and should even be around kids. So i came to the conclusion that it might be better to just don't cover it and come out with my stutter... but i just can't do it, the feeling of being judged and shame is just... no. Also kids are kids, i don't want to become their clown. Stutter is really unfair nasty disorder. Thank you
