two wrong assumptions he make have bad consequences. wrong assumption #1: stutterers are not finishing sentences because of fear. this toxic assumption leads to people thinking it's ok to talk over you and not let you finish. you can't finish your sentences either because you got a block that's too long or because assholes are not letting you. either way, it wasn't your choice. this guy make it sound like it's your choice. wrong assumption #2: it's just confidence issues. labeling it a confidence issue has an unintended consequence of making you become a target of bullying and abuse. bullies target those who are not confident. what this guy should do instead is go to bullies and give them his inspiration talk. wrong assumption #3: "i'm blowing your mind?" very overconfident of him to assume that look was "i'm blown away by your wisdom." Blown away by his stupidity, more like. or that look could just be a secondary behavior with no meaning. People should stop assigning meanings to facial expressions of stutterers. Stop putting words into our faces and just listen to words coming out of our mouth!
