I too was just like you fearing every moment I had to talk in class, in social settings, etc.. what I’ve found out now is no one really reacts to the stuttering itself, they’re reacting to your reaction of your stuttering. Chances are your classmates know you and your character, values, how smart and what a good friend you are. That’s what makes you, not a stutter. So if they see you shying away or feeling embarrassed they too will feel shy and embarrassed for you. Your reaction is all about the reaction you want to get. I’ve talked to many people, stuttered the entire time, and since it wasn’t a big deal to me - it wasn’t a big deal to them either. It only gets better
