First off, you are an amazing human being and the way you explain the situation shows how much you understand stuttering. The mental issues are far more detrimental than the speech issues. Your doing great, letting him self evolve. My mom was like you and I'm so thankful. So many parents want to protect their kids and shelter them in a pity bubble. I'm guessing being married to a man who stutters you know it's not a handicap unless you let it be. I don't have any advise, just wanted to appreciate you.
