What other people have said about connecting with other people who stutter is really great advice. Seriously, the number one biggest help to me in my life is my grandad who also has a bad stutter and knows what I'm going through. Having someone else who understands and who you can talk to about it makes a ton of difference. I'm a teenager too, with a really severe stutter and I can't really socialize or have a normal life like I wish I could. I get depressed and discouraged and embarrassed and I also hate the stares like "what's on earth is wrong with him?" but it's seriously encouraging to me to have my grandad as an example or to talk to when I'm getting really down about my stutter. I look up to him so much. He's done so much in his life despite barely being able to talk. I definitely agree with what people said about talking to other people who stutter to get friends and mentors who understand.
