Due to extreme lack of evidence, I'm confident there is no god, but am always open to be proven wrong if said evidence ever actually appeared. With that said, even if you believe, it's definitely not a god who balances what happens to people based on their actions, so best not to think of what we're afflicted with like that. Just do the best you can regardless of circumstances. Some people are better off, some are worse off. It shouldn't affect how you yourself take action.
