Day 1 of Vitamin B1 Supplementation *(I was posting these by following up on my original post but I figured no one would see it that way. This way, whoever is interested to follow the progress can see it easily as I'll be updating with a new post for each day.)* **Day 1** Thoughts: As mentioned above, the B1 was taken first thing in the morning along with my other vitamins. Went down easy. Again, the smell is disgusting. Seeing as I'm allowing 30 minutes for the vitamin to absorb before eating anything, any burping brings up the horrible taste of the pill lol. My pee definitely smells like the sulfur of the thiamine. Opportunities for speaking: 7/10. Met with family. Had plenty of opportunity to speak. Stuttering intensity today: 3/10. Obviously still there, but its noticeably less. Probably placebo, but the placebo is certainly strong. Energy levels: 6/10. Not caffeinated today, meh overall. Mood and general enthusiasm: 7/10. Feeling good. Was at the grocery store with my mother this evening and had a long conversation. Speaking felt more smooth and fluent than usual. Blocks certainly happened but felt shorter. Overall stuttered less. I naturally fluctuate from good to bad days though so for now, I'll just consider this "just another good day" instead of assuming the B1 is contributing to it. At least I've confirmed that 500mg of thiamine does nothing negative to me (induce anxiety, allergic, nausea, etc).
