This is something that frustrates me too. I don't mind having to talk on the phone, but the stutter makes it so difficult sometimes. Especially if I'm having a particularly bad day with stuttering, the last thing I want to do is deal with a tech support phone call. I think sometimes people assume I'm just lazy or 'afraid of a phone call' but it's really just the fear of stuttering that stops me. Especially a phone call where you have to deal with important information, stuttering just doesn't create the easiest atmosphere.
