When I was a child I'd tell my mom I'd trade a hand for free speech. Just because you have a stutter doesn't mean you can have any of the above you mentioned. To be fair, you are both more likely to be homeless ( when I was a teen they didn't want to hire me in fickin McDonald's! I did eventually get the job and an apology from the owner but Gosh did that fuck with my brain. Like you don't THINK I'm capable of flipping burgers?? I worked on the counter solely), abused ( being mocked is a type of abuse) and mentally ill (DEPRESSION, social anxiety etc) I wish other people would understand how lucky they are living in a working body, everything else is in their minds and their potential is limitless. The only people that have it worse are those with physical disabilities. If you have a functioning body and a working brain you can achieve anything you want and get out of any life circumstance. It's a mental block that you have to deal with not with a tactical birth defect. I know this sounds pessimistic, but it's more like OK life isn't fair, you can't do much about it ,stiffen up and go try your hardest for what you want. In the end you are going to die, like all of us. So, at least try your best, to create a good life for yourself.
