I've noticed that the amount that I stutter varies by language. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm a native speaker of both English and Spanish, I've studied Japanese for nearly 3 years and I'm fairly conversational in it, more recently I've started to take on Tagalog/Vietnamese more recently and I've begun to realize that the amount that I stutter varies by language. It's a bit easier to control my stuttering in English than in Spanish (but it's still frequent), my stuttering in Spanish/Tagalog/Japanese is extremely frequent (happens nearly every other syllable), and in Vietnamese, it's somewhat uncommon and is very controllable. I was wondering if anyone knows why the frequency varies by language and if there's some sort of explanation behind it.
