Yep. Lost potential jobs because I couldn’t answer the question “give me an example of a time you had take control of a situation and fix it” even though I know exactly what I wanted to say and practiced this question. Stuttering needs to be protected by the ADA and we need more awareness. I can’t count how many people think we have a mental illness because we stutter. I’ve lost out on potential jobs because I couldn’t say my own fucking name. Fuck stuttering.
