Some people who stutter and can keep a healthy outlook on life can be fairly strong in empathy, patience and listening. These are valuable skills and good employees know that having lots of perspectives from employees is valuable. Don't count yourself out. I worked at a cafe taking orders in college (no other workable options at the time). I was pretty nervous but TBH - it was ok, helped to desensitize me a little and gave me more confidence. Bad days included.
