They don't see it as a disability issue. They're perceiving your stuttering as " nervousness " and considering you unfit for the job because of that. That's pretty much how they think. Some recruiters will even time how long it takes you to answer the phone. If they call you unannounced and you don't answer in 20 seconds (even if you're in the toilet), they will label as you " unreliable " and move on to the next candidate. They are incredibly judgemental twits.
