Love it 👏 my go to line is usually something along the lines of… “ a little about me - I have a stutter if you haven’t noticed by now (lol) So hopefully it adds a little pizazz to the topic for you this Friday afternoon (or insert whatever lil’ quip applies). ANYWAY enough about me, let’s get into it.” ^ then you just roll straight into your topic and crush it. Fool proof. I got this down to a science during my MBA because I had to present 2 to 3x a week and eventually I just got numb to it and/or decided I didn’t have time to stress and wind myself up every time I had a presentation. The intro is good to do if you want to just clear the air or address elephant in room…plus I’m biased obvi but I think if done correctly it’s hella cool points and the ultimate ‘you could NEVER’ to all the beta boys in the audience wondering if they have the nerve.
