Yep. Even I was astonished when I read about this in that book. That book has some really great insights. Some work for you some don't. The "rewriting stutter memories" is working for me. Also, the less self-conscious we are, the less likely we'll stutter. Focussing on our thoughts about "what we are going to speak" is a lot better than "how we are speaking it" and helps with being less self-conscious
