What changes would you like to see here on r/Stutter? My last [post](http://redd.it/21v5sz) was asking if anyone wanted change, this one is for what people want to see changed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- So, people come here who stammer/stutter to do what? * To discuss past experiences and how the should deal with it, * Advice and techniques, * Speaking in general, * their stammer/stutter in general. (Covered everything? Maybe?) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- So, a person who stammers/stutters, comes on here, posts about an experience they had and then sees the comments, after this they leave really, taking advice with them. As you can see on the right, the subreddit has a massive 800+ subscribers, meaning I'm sure 800 people who stammer/stutter have been here. I'd say about 1/16 are active regularly. The problem is people leaving, I'm sure some of you have met people here, and have made a community out of it all. Every community wants more people, especially one based around stuttering. I know some people aren't that bothered by their speech, but maybe you could tell people why you aren't and how they could get to that stage. Instead of people coming here just to get advice, we want people to come here and give advice also. The more people that stay, the more experiences we can share and the more we can learn from each other. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- **What I'd like to see** * An improvement on the sidebar, more links. * An improvement on flairs on posts and more organisation on the subreddit. * A title suggested in my other post by Broan13: but my first suggestion in my head was to change "reddit" in the top left to r-reddit. * More people who stay here, for them to stay here they need to know WHY they should stay here, creating a bigger purpose for the subreddit. (To a certain extent, I don't mean like a "Stuttering Facebook". * I would also love to see people just telling the community about their day. You come home from work/school and you just write about your day, any difficulties you had and also the good moments. This might help people just to get stuff off their chest, and be able to relax for the evening. * A possible weekly/monthly skype call/google hangout. This could help us because we could get to know people within the community here and maybe help some of us, because we will all be speaking to others who stammer, so there wont be much stress. =D ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I want to hear from you people, the community, tell me what you would like to see come out of the subreddit, because it really is a good place for a community. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- **I'll post some comments here** *
