I went through a period like that and it went pretty well for the smaller blocks but by the time the big blocks popped up the flow of the conversation would normally be ruined along with my mood which made me worry about my blocks more. Now I just go into conversation in a similar way, but I make sure to pay attention to when blocks start to happen so I can acknowledge the big ones that ruin the flow in some way. That normally helps the conversation pick up at a higher spot than before the block happens. Taking notice of it normally helps the block seem normalish and makes the other person feel less uncomfortable when they witness it. A little tip to making it seem less weird is making the comment relatable if you in some way if and to not always comment on your blocks, especially if you’re stressed, worried, or beating yourself mentally over it it’ll just make it seem unnatural since your body language already shows how you really feel and you’ll come off fake when you do it, unless you’re a really good actor.
