heyo, i spent a while abroad from my country, and there i would speak English. One thing to note is I was already fluent in English, but at first i had very minimal stuttering in English, but over time as English became my "main" language i started stuttering in it as well. Same thing happened when I moved back to my country and started speaking my native language for a while! So moral of the story i guess it works on what you get used to.
