Tips for getting around your stutter are great, and I’m glad commenters have provided them. Ultimately however, you will stutter. Accepting that is in my opinion the most important. You are not wrong for stuttering. You are not causing a problem, or being an inconvenience, or making a mistake. You are simply existing. It’s completely reasonable to expect others to simply wait for you to finish speaking. If they aren’t willing to give you an extra few seconds, that’s their problem. And it says a lot about them. Embrace it.
