People who stutter hear it immediately. I am 100% sure about this. I think that most people who don’t stutter or don’t know anyone who stutters might not notice it so they think it’s rare. One time I went out with friends and in the first five minutes this guy I had just met got stuck in “jewish” for like a milisecond and I knew immediately.
