I’ve overheard coworkers and HR talk about PWS when they thought the coast was clear… They mock us and use us as the butt of their jokes and wonder how we can do the job(s) if we cannot speak. On rare occasions, I’ve had them say it right to my face (and this was at a prestigious university - “… I can’t deal with you (and your stutter) today…”). It is illegal, but no one really cares until you can find enough complainants to have a suit.
