No worries, Yes, I tend to know which words I will get stuck on ahead of time. Yes the “difficult” sounds have changed over time. I used to hate “s” words, the word “seven” would literally throw me into a panic attack. Now its mainly M, D, R, W, V - so still a few to be getting on with 😅 Since I have learned this technique along with others, the mental energy has decreased considerably. Practicing over time, makes it automated. If I’m tired, my speech that day can drop up to 80%, which really makes me understand that there seems to be a physiological component that makes speech more challenging under stress. For those days I try to be easy on myself. Go with a deep voice, half speed and use this technique as best I can.
