I've been working at a grocery store the last 6yrs and im a stutterer as well. Even though I'm considered a mild/moderate stutterer, I do find it difficult to help customers out on the sales floor. Im a stocker so I have to provide alot customer service etc. I know it must be really difficult especially if you're a bagger since you're in direct contact with the customer and every one has their own personality. But the piece of advice I can give is to focus on what part of your speech gives you the most trouble and hone in on that and see where it goes. Stuttering can be really defeating sometimes but we shouldn't let it define us, its just a part of us like a shadow id like to compare it to. Plus in my opinion wearing masks has made my stutter a bit more pronounced since this whole pandemic started. Anyway good luck and keep us posted. 😁✌
