I was waiting my turn to stutter through my introduction and then the guy I was sitting next to went and I found out that he had a severe stutter!! So when I went, people thought I was making fun of him. I almost died of embarrassment and I told him that I have a moderate stutter and I did not mean to make fun of him. My friends and I still talk about it 20 years later (ugh I'm getting old).
