Here are some tips on how I have improved: Diaphragmatic breathing exercises- these have helped a lot. Search on YouTube for tips on how to begin practicing this. Mindfulness helps and general relaxation Recording myself speaking and acting out solely feared speaking situations (this helps by training your brain to desensitise. This has helped me massively) Practice phone calls and putting yourself in situations to boost your confidence - this will really help as with each positive step you’re becoming that bit more confident which in turn helps fluency Taking a light outward breath before saying a blocked/feared word to prevent the block and any associated secondary behaviours.
