Maybe this is just me but I didn't find a speech therapist helpful at all. Most speech therapists have never stuttered, and have no idea what it feels like, so all they can really tell you is what they've read in books and heard in classes. I feel like MY best way of learning to control my stutter is reading what OTHER stutterers have gone through and ways they have learned to conquer stuttering, and truly practicing these things everyday like OP has.
