I wouldn't call it a detox by itself, I just tried to limit the amount of stimulation in my brain to see what happens. I started by limiting the amount of time I spend on my phone, which include Reddit, YouTube and social media, I used an app to set a time limit for each app, after that I stopped eating junk food. After a few weeks, I started implementing new healthy habits. Reading books instead of scrolling endlessly on my phone, eating healthier foods, regular physical activities and learning a new skill or language. After 60 days or so for some reason I started to stuttering less and not caring that much when it occurs, specially in stressful situations. Looking back, I wouldn't even be able to say my name to strangers or use the phone to make a call. But now, it's way easier for me. I still stutter, but way less than before.
