They didn't make a mistake hiring you. If they hired you fully knowing, you're clearly perfectly qualified for the role regardless of your speech. Think about how qualified you are for the role vs all the other applicants with a more fluent speech pattern than you if that's your concern. Clearly you've demonstrated you're more than capable.
