Yeah losing weight is a different ball game than building muscle in a caloric surplus. I’ve been skinny my whole life, I usually don’t eat nearly enough, and definitely notice when I don’t eat enough and my workout is painful. That’s why I said building muscle, not going to the gym. Still lifting has had profound impacts on my depression and anxiety, and I am afraid of where I’d be without it.
