Does talking with your hands help you? I started working recently and my job requires me to be speaking constantly (I know yikes lmao), but what I noticed helps keeps my speech flowing and reduces stuttering is talking with my hands. I’m pretty sure you all know what I mean by that, but it’s basically involving hands/arm movement when you speak. This seems to help me a lot, especially since my anxiety makes my stutter worse, so it lets me focus on something else. Does anyone find that this works for them? Or if you haven’t tried it, try it and let me know if it works for you.
