I would love to say that goes away but it really doesn't, at least not entirely. Even when you feel comfortable stuttering, it's still mentally draining playing all the mental gymnastics to get the words out. Best thing to do is to create plenty of time to just chill and relax by yourself to regain that energy. Even if you chill with someone else instead, just try to limit the talking by doing some kind of activity so you can get your energy back up for when you do have to end up talking. It honestly feels like it's own full time job, lol, but the first step is accepting the fact that you stutter and it's more than likely gonna stay that way and anyone who thinks otherwise can go F off. Just focus on the ones who bring you up and don't make fun of you with malintent.
