>There's also the problem in praising fluency as the ultimate goal, instead of acceptance. To me, fluency is the ultimate goal. E.g. I wouldn't just sit in a wheelchair proudly, if there's a chance I can walk again. And I'd be flattered if someone would say to me that I speak much more fluently than before. I think that's also a personal preference, we as PWS can have different world views.
