Prior to making the film, I \*believed\* I had not met anyone who had a disfluency. But the reality is I was so unaware and unconnected to the challenges of living with a disfluency that I'm certain I met, talked over, and even teased those with disfluency. The shame and anger at myself for this past behavior - mostly in my teens - is part of what has driven to make and release the film over the last 6-7 years. I want to right those wrongs and encourage others to do the same.
