Hey man, I'm glad you had success! For me, adderall and other amphetamines can work wonders once I have everything in check: enough sleep, eating well, didn't overdo it, hydrated enough, etc. If any of these factors are off even slightly for me my speech can actually become worse than if I was sober. These types of substances can definitely help with confidence too though, which for many people including myself is a big hindrance when it comes to stuttering. The criticisms of other commenters, while maybe slightly valid in some sense, do not override your doctors recommendations. I wish you continued luck with your adderall treatment!
