i'm in the same boat. mid 30s, i always thought i would grow out of my stutter. I have a computer based job that (imo) excel at but when i'm due to present my project in front of others, i struggle with my name, and the entire presentation. People look at their phones, whisper among themselves and i feel question my intelligence. I have started showing up early to meetings and hand out my business card to new faces, just a suggestion.
