Thanks! And to you also, great reply. I hope everyone here reads your post. Sometimes, I feel it's almost blasphamy to say it's mostly fear based. You put it into words very clearly. In my humble opnion, in order to overcome stuttering, one needs to work on overcoming their fear of speaking WITH a stutter. Choose to NOT care. Yes, it feels difficult at first, but you will get better and better at it, and with enough perseverance, you will reach a point where you will hardly care. I also still stutter occasionally, for sure. But I don't care much about it anymore. I'm done caring about it. Also, people should know, people who hear you stutter often don't care about it that much at all. Yes, a few very difficult people do exist, and some MIGHT one day say something or do something. EMBRACE these moments with OPEN ARMS, to put into the works the idea of "letting go" or "not caring". What someone else thinks about you, IS NOT YOUR PROBLEM, unless you choose to make it so. :) It's all easier said than done, but with patience and letting go, you can live a more free life, free from those fears.
