Is 'blocking' unconscious or subconscious For clarity sake, **unconscious** means that the mind operates autonomously and beyond conscious control, whereas the **subconscious** mind can be influenced and shaped to some extent by conscious efforts. An example of **unconscious** is: the human heart pumping blood throughout the body, functions under the control of the unconscious mind without any conscious influence or regulation. So, pumping blood and the beating of the heart is governed by the part of the brain inaccessible to our consciousness. **Question**: If you are doing a speech block, do you consider this unconscious or subconscious? Provide your argument.
