Thank you for posting this. My mom always used to tell me that I have nothing wrong with me and I simply just "lacks self confidence" and so she didn't think taking me to a speech therapy would solve anything. In the family as I was growing up (even till now) whenever I point out this problem for some reason they always dismiss me or say things like (look you speak naturally there's nothing wrong with you) it's really frustrating. Only recently when I started living alone (about 4 years ago) I understood that it's a disorder and it's in fact a problem.
