The best way i got over that was practice. Always start exhaling before you start talking. If you block, stop talking and start again. This will help with blocking. So inhale, start to exhale, then say your name. If you block while practicing your name, stop and start again. Dont let yourself get into the 10 sec block. After a few hours of this you will see improvements. This was the #1 rule when i went through threapy at www.fluentspeech.com at EVMC.
