I did Toastmasters for a year or so. Great experience and everyone was very supporting and you do things at your own pace. For your first speech you pretty much introduce yourself. I talked about my stutter. They also have something called table topics. It's impromptu speaking which really helps you down the road for interviews and other spontaneous speaking situations
