My stutter is getting pretty severe right now, how to I get out of it? I have had a moderate to severe stutter all my life. Talking to people has always been pretty difficult. It has gotten better in the past few years (I’m 24 now), and it varies with time/anxiety/social life ect., but right now it’s getting worse again. I’m having really bad blocks, get physical pain for trying so hard to speak and I just want to be left alone. I also went to a stand up show with a girl last night and I stuttered pretty bad and couldn’t hold a normal conversation because of my stutter, so now I’m very depressed. I know that this is probably just a bad part of my regular stutter-cycle, but I really don’t have time to get anxiety/depresstion and I want to know what I have to do to get out of this shithole that I’m in right now. Any tips would help.
