My last name, my home town, and my high school all start with /m/. Saying any /m/ word for me brought on 30-60 second stutters. Shame and fear drove it (i.e. "I should be able to say my name!!! everyone can just say it.!!!!") The proper mechanics of getting your /m/ consistent is to 1) place your lips together without taking a breath first 2) start humming your /m/ and say Mocha. 3) keep eye contact with server. I have to stress avoid inhaling or starting with an open mouth posture. Eye averting at the last second will likely trigger a stutter because you are dissociating and projecting thoughts. The only thing that can complicate this would be anxiety- the fear of stuttering on it. Words with /n/ and /l/ can be hummed to start. This is an organic technique- not a trick- because you are starting the REAL sound and not avoiding. Practice it in the mirror a lot. When you are feeling courageous look on [Booksamillion.com](https://Booksamillion.com) and find book titles with 'mocha.' There are many. You call the store and ask if they have the book in stock. good fortunes to you
