5-year-old's game-based speech sessions
Content
5-year-old's game-based speech sessions My 5-year-old has a severe stutter. The SLP she works with specializes in childhood stuttering and is a university clinical supervisor and lecturer. His practice is focused on childhood stuttering. During the sessions, he and my child play with board games and toys and chat the whole time. However, they don't talk about stuttering and there are no strategies being discussed or practiced. Is this typical for pre-school age children's speech sessions?
