1.) It helped me weed out the people I don’t want in my life, since the people who truly care are the ones who see though it. 2.) It’s made me stronger and ready to deal with more life problems that the universe loves to throw at us 3.) It’s made me more empathetic, caring, compassionate, etc.. 4.) It’s saved me from making some terrible choices and kind of guided me 5.) It’s made it easier to impress people, since lots of people hold various misconceptions about PWS but when they see a smart, funny, optimistic person who stutters it’s almost like a shock to them 6.) Definitely made me more philosophical, and wonder about things like what the fuck is out there (in terms of a higher power) Don’t get me wrong, life is oftentimes challenging for PWS but I always try to look at things through a different lens :) For example: A customer at my old job called my department (i worked in retail) and started asking about some dumb toy or whatever. After I said “well miss i don’t believe we have it...” she immediately took it easy and made the conversation very concise. It may not be the best situation but I looked at it as oh cool one less bitchy Karen to deal with!
