Thank you for your words Wally. I made an edit to this post, but I wanted to mention that I love the sense of community here and I am realizing how much I need that. I have decided to leave him. Last night, I explained to him how hurt I was by his actions, and he told me “Well, I don’t remember doing that so I can’t talk about it”. I almost questioned if whether it did happen or not. This is obviously toxic as fuck and there is no reason to stay with him. We actually live together so me leaving will take a bit longer than I want it to, but it will happen soon. Telling myself everyday that stuttering does not make me any less of a person is such a wonderful idea. I’m going to start doing just that. Ahh, again thank you! :’)
