I've never given a fake name for as long as I can remember. But this has happened to me many times and it's embarrassing mainly to myself. But for some reason this year when I've been introducing myself to people, it's now just: "A-aidan" or just "Aidan" not a whole block. I don't know if I've suddenly become more confident over a period of time or I'm starting to overcome my stutter in saying my name because I have been so determined to not stutter when I say it. Who knows. Try persuade yourself that every time you try to say your name that you won't stutter either in your brain or out loud to yourself and maybe it'll work after a while. Let me know how it goes if you want.
