Im in my mid 20s atm, throughout my life my stutter has gotten worse and better at different moments. Sure, if I’m anxious and stressed it gets worse, but not always. Same as when I’m confident and healthy it can get better, but not always. Your stutter is something that you have and you can’t always control it. It’s not your fault. It’s a disability after all. Just because other people tell you that you need to do things to make it better doesn’t mean you have to. Your parents should accept your stutter for what it is. It doesn’t matter if it gets “worse” or better. You deserve to feel respected and you deserve patience just like anybody else with a disability. I recommend saying this to your parents. That you having a stutter doesn’t mean you’re broken, and that they shouldn’t hold things above you just because you have one. You deserve to be loved because of it, not judged and told that your phone is making it worse.
